General information on data processing

As a matter of principle, we only process your personal data insofar as this is necessary for the provision of our offer. In addition, we only process personal data if you actively provide it to us, e.g. by filling out forms, sending e-mails and inquiries or in the context of ordering a newsletter or other services.

We will only use the personal data provided by you for the purpose of processing the contract and handling your inquiries. A processing and use of your personal data for other purposes, such as consulting, advertising and market research, will only take place if you have previously consented to the corresponding use or if we are entitled or obliged to the processing due to a legal provision.

Provision of the WebSite and creation of logfiles

When you use our website, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. When you call up the website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to enable you to visit the website and to ensure stability and security (legal basis is article 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR):

  • Websites from which you have reached our website
  • Date and time of the retrieval
  • Name of the Internet access provider
  • browser type/version and language
  • the operating system used
  • access status/http status code
  • amount of data transferred in each case
  • device (PC, tablet PC or smartphone)
  • pages visited on our site incl. dwell time
  • the last website you visited

We evaluate this data for statistical purposes only. A personal evaluation does not take place. The temporary storage of your IP address is necessary to enable delivery of the website to your end device. For this purpose, the user’s IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session. The storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, we use the data to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. These purposes are also our legitimate interest in data processing according to article 6 Para. 1 lit. GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.

Newsletter, Travel tips

We offer you through the WebSite the possibility to subscribe to our free newsletter. In addition, we offer you the opportunity to register to receive our travel tips or other free information that we may provide to users. In doing so, the data from the input mask is transmitted to us during registration (first and last name and e-mail address).

For the newsletter registration, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, in which we send you a confirmation e-mail after you have submitted your e-mail address, in which we ask you to confirm that you would like to receive the e-mail newsletter. If you confirm, we will store your e-mail address and any other data you may have provided until you unsubscribe from the e-mail newsletter. To prevent misuse, we store the IP address from which access is made and the time of access when you click on the link sent in the confirmation e-mail.

The legal basis for the processing of data after registration to receive the email newsletter is article 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The collection of the user’s email address serves to deliver the newsletter.

You may revoke your consent to receive an e-mail newsletter at any time with future effect by clicking on the link provided in each e-mail newsletter or by sending an e-mail to

info(at)panamavalue.com.

Data security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that the data collected in connection with the use of the services provided by us is protected against loss, incorrect modification or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously revised in line with technological developments and adapted accordingly.

Illegal contents were not recognizable at the time of linking. However, a permanent control of the contents of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of a violation of the law. If we become aware of any infringements, we will remove such links immediately.
